- Tennis Court (also used for Netball & Hockey) - Cross Country Course - Athletics Area - All Weather Cricket Nets - Heated Indoor Swimming Pool - Purpose-built Sports Hall (also used for school plays, productions and daily assemblies) Our extensive grounds also offer opportunities for outdoor science and nature lessons. We have recently installed an all-weather playground with play equipment Oakhyrst Grange School facilities are amongst the very best of any independent preparatory school, both indoors and outdoors. Lunches are prepared from fresh ingredients on site in our purpose built kitchens. Every pupil who stays for a full day is expected to eat school lunch unless otherwise authorised by the Headmaster. Oakhyrst Grange School has well-stocked Junior and Senior libraries, which contain a wide range of reference and fictional books. All pupils are encouraged to use these facilities, as well as their individual classroom libraries. Our senior pupils are trained as librarians for the Junior and Senior Libraries. All children throughout the school have access to computers in their classrooms. In addition we have a recently upgraded ICT suite, which is used for all our ICT and computer lessons.
