Wrap Around Care

The School offers childcare before and after the school day.

Early Arrivals

Our newly launched Breakfast Club is open from 7.30am until the school doors officially open at 8.25 am. A member of staff supervises each session and the children can enjoy an opportunity to have their breakfast and play before the school day begins. There is a charge of £6.00 per session.  We also have the option of attending from 8.00am without breakfast for a small charge of £2.00 per session.  Pupils from LKG to Year 6 are all able to take advantage of the option of early arrival.

Late departures

The After School Care provided is for children in Lower Kindergarten and Kindergarten from 3.30pm to 5.00pm only.  There is a maximum of 8 places available for Early Years children.

After the children have finished their prep they are free to take part in supervised play, either in an adjoining classroom or outside if the weather allows.

Pastoral Care

A closely monitored balance of social and academic progress is essential. Happy children work better! The degree of pastoral care given to each child is important in its development into cheerful, confident individuals. As a result every member of staff takes a keen interest in the children’s social and emotional welfare, with Class Teachers regularly monitoring their own pupils’ academic development.

A carefully structured program of assessment, recording and reporting allows for a clear line of communication between teachers and parents.
By keeping in regular contact, we ensure that parents are kept informed about what is happening in their child’s school life.

We believe that giving praise and encouragement, instilling good manners, politeness and respect from an early age, results in a well-balanced and confident child.
