RNLI Swimathon Challenge – We did it, we reached Lyme Regis!

During the last two weeks of the first half summer term, the whole school and teachers took part in a sponsored swim.  The challenge was to see if we could collectively swim the 146 miles between the RNLI station at Shoreham Harbour and the RNLI station at Lyme Regis.  We collated all the children’s school lessons during these 2 weeks, including Otters, Competitive sessions, 1hr distance swims for years 4 & 5 and Oliver’s 3hr swim which was undertaken on the last day of the challenge, plus the teachers.

A special mention to Mrs Ashdown-Parkes who swam over 20 miles! Please do not forget to send your sponsorship money into the office asap.

Thank you
