During the week beginning Monday 12th November we participated within the National Anti-Bullying Week programme. Throughout the week, a range of assemblies were delivered to the children by Mr Gear, Mr Burke, Mrs Dowling, Mrs Brown and myself.
The topics of these assemblies included; Celebrating Differences, Respect, Cyber-Bullying and Healthy Lifestyles. On Tuesday 13th November, the children were invited to come to school wearing odd socks. This was a thoroughly enjoyable day for all staff and children and helped us all to think about ways in which we can always be kind and caring towards each other no matter what our differences may be. Many teachers shared discussions with their classes regarding the key topics delivered throughout the week.
