On Friday 31st May all of the Year 6 children attended a Kwik Cricket festival held by Caterham School. It was perfect weather for the festival and we walked to the venue in our walking train. The festival was a lovely small affair with 2 other schools taking part. We filled two teams and for the girls this was a massive learning curve as they have only been playing cricket for the past few weeks.
The children did not disappoint and we were awarded some fine displays of cricket from the girls and boys. One team went undefeated and the other came 3rd.
A brilliant start to the cricket season.
