U11 Hockey Festival away at Banstead Preparatory School – Wednesday 5th February

On the 5th February a team of Year 6 and 5 girls went to play at Banstead Prep for a Hockey Festival.  We played four matches and ended up drawing two, nil-nil and losing two 1-nil.  We hardly let in any goals thanks to our brilliant goalie Seanna.  She loved all of it .  In the fair games Robyn was Woman of the Match twice, Gracie once and Leah once, all chosen by the other teams.  However, there were two people who stood out to the Teachers and were players of the Festival.  They were Seanna and Robyn.  Though we did not score any goals we had an enjoyable time.  Everyone contributed to the team (Gracie B, Chloe B, Seanna C, Milli D, Millie J, Leah K, Robyn L-O, Charlotte S) and here are a few things we want to mention:

Gracie: I had an amazing and exciting experience.

Robyn: It was a tough game but I thoroughly enjoyed becoming Player of the Festival

Charlotte: I learnt a lot from the festival and had a great time.

Seanna: I really enjoyed being goalie.

Finally we would all like to say a big thank you to Miss Dance and Miss Harrington for taking us to the festival and expanding our hockey skills.
