Harvest Festival – Wednesday 6th October

It was lovely to be able to have a proper Harvest Festival Service again.  The Reverend Frany Long conducted the service for us with a lovely blend of humour and reflection. My thanks to Mrs Stevens who prepared and rehearsed the music with the children. As always the children performed magnificently.

My thanks also to Mrs Carter, Mrs McCoy and Mrs Gooding who created a wonderful display of the produce that was so generously donated by you the parents.  The ladies then delivered the produce to the Caterham Foodbank.  It was wonderful to see so many parents and family members in attendance, indeed, there were far more people there than we had anticipated.

After the service it was a delight to see the school in a walking train that went from the Church through the park and then along the Stanstead Road.  The weather was splendid that day as was the mood throughout the school.
