Pastoral Care
At Oakhyrst Grange, we know that happy children learn best. Finding the right balance between social and academic growth is key to helping every child become a cheerful, confident individual. That’s why our staff take genuine care in getting to know each pupil — supporting not only their learning but also their emotional wellbeing. Class Teachers keep a close eye on each child’s progress, making sure they feel encouraged and valued every step of the way.
We have a clear system for assessing, recording, and sharing progress, which helps us stay in regular contact with parents. This open communication means you’ll always know how your child is getting on and what’s happening in their school life.
At the heart of everything we do is kindness, encouragement, and respect. By nurturing good manners, politeness, and a caring attitude from an early age, we help our children grow into confident, considerate young people who are ready to take on the world.
