7 children from Year 3 took part in a competitive 8-school tournament last weekend, 8th November 2025, featuring two groups of four teams. Drawn into a tough group, our players battled hard in each of their three-group stage matches, but despite their best efforts, the results didn’t go our way.

Hawthorns 5-0 loss
Hilden Grange 1-1 draw
In the Plate semi-final, the team faced another strong opponent in Aberdour School. Despite creating chances and defending bravely, we fell to a 3-1 defeat.
The children should be extremely proud of their efforts. They showed real improvement throughout the day, growing in confidence and cohesion as a team. For some, it was their first competitive experience. A big well done to Edie R-B who picked up our player of the tournament award for her two goals and general awesomeness on the pitch.
