Entry is normally in the Autumn Term. The Acceptance Deposit of £500.00 will be reimbursed, less outstanding disbursements, at the end of the pupil’s final term upon completion of year 6 in accordance with the Standard Terms and Conditions.
A 5% discount is given to siblings of any child attending the school.
Fees are payable in advance on or before the first day of each term. A full term’s notice in writing must be given of the removal of a pupil, otherwise a full term’s fees are due in lieu of notice. Parents have the option of spreading the payment of fees.
No rebate is allowed by the School for absences.

Pre Reception and Reception at Oakhyrst Grange School
Places are allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. We operate a registrations’ list for several years ahead and once your child is registered (by completing a registration form and paying a deposit) you will be added to the list and given priority over later applicants. As our class sizes are kept small (no more than 21 for PR and 22 for R-Y6), we recommend that you register as early as possible.
Our main intake is in our Pre-Reception class where new pupils attend on five mornings and have the option of choosing additional afternoons or full time. Pupils will turn 4 years old during the academic year in which they join the School.
Years Reception-6 at Oakhyrst Grange School
Entry into these classes is based on availability of places. We do not operate a system of formal entrance exams, but upon receipt of your application your child will be invited to spend a ‘taster day’ with their class where they will sit informal tests in English, Maths and reading. Your child will also have the opportunity to meet their teacher and the rest of the class. We may request latest school reports.
