Pauline has been a Governor at OGS since 2016 and in October 2022 was elected Chair of the Board of Governors: she is the named governor for Safeguarding and sits on both the Education and Welfare Committee and the Finance and Estate Committee. Pauline holds a degree from the University of Birmingham and an MA from the University of London. During her career she taught English in selective and comprehensive senior schools and worked in both the maintained and independent sectors. Before retiring from teaching, Pauline was Deputy Head of a large GDST school and served as a Team Inspector with the Independent Schools Inspectorate for 10 years. She is married to a retired secondary school Head and has one son educated at local independent schools.
