On Friday 4th February 2022, some of the year six girls went to Lingfield College to compete in the ISA U11 Girls’ Netball tournament. It was different this time and any of the schools were allowed to bring three boys to play. Also there were only five on each team and we took eight along so we had subs cheering Oakhyrst on.
Our first game was against Deepdene school. They were very good and the game ended 8-0 to Deepdene. The second game was against The Pointer School and that ended at 1-1. The third game was against Rosemead that ended 4-3 to them. We lost it in the last minute! We played against other schools in our group but sadly we didn’t get into the group stage. All of the other schools fully deserved their places as they all played very well and were very good. Well done to everyone who took part.
