It was a fantastic, and sunny, afternoon of hockey on Tuesday which saw our Year 3 and 4 children put in some great performances on the pitch against Chinthurst School. There were plenty of goals, some excellent teamwork, and some brilliant defensive work on display. The matches were played at a high intensity, with every child giving it their all.
All of the Year 3 teams showed great determination, scoring some impressive goals. Overall, both the Yellow & Orange teams tied for first place with the Red team finishing in a very respectable 2nd place.
The Year 4 teams demonstrated their strength and skill, and certainly showed some great improvements from their previous fixture in January. Both the red team and the blue team could not be separated on points, both finishing in 1st position.
Overall, Oakhyrst Grange emerged victorious. A huge well done to all the children for their effort and enthusiasm, and to the parents and supporters who came along to cheer on the teams. Well done, everyone!
