On Wednesday 9th March, Oakhyrst hosted a hockey match against Essendene Lodge. The team was mixed between Years 5 and 6. We played 3 matches in total.
In the first game both sides played really well. Zach managed to score a goal and Oakhyrst won the game 1-0. The second game was extremely close, but after a period of pressure from Oakhyrst, Amala scored a goal and we went on to win the game 1-0.
In the final game both teams had some chances but Essendene managed to sneak in a 1-0 victory. After the game we all sat in the hall for a match tea.
