Former Pupil Rugby Success – Jake O’S

Jake O’S – Year 11, Worth School, was previously a pupil at Oakhyrst Grange School – (2017 leaver).

Jake has always loved sports and represented OGS at the ISA national finals in the 4 x 4 relay finals at the Olympic aquatic centre in 2015, 2016 and 2017 when the year 5 boys in 2016 gained a bronze medal.

Jake also represented the school in the ISA 5 a-side football finals in Nottingham in 2016 and represented the school in the London South East competition for hockey.

Jake gained a sports scholarship at Worth School and has since gone from strength to strength in Rugby Union.

Last November 2021, Jake was selected to represent Sussex rugby U16’s and has played in several county games and most recently played at London Irish with his club side, Old Reigatians in the Quinn’s Cup Finals.

Jake puts his success to date, down to lots of hard work, playing in all sorts of weather and thinking about the outcome of the team overall.
