At the beginning of February, I decided to take part in the No-Sugar challenge for Cancer Research. I knew the challenge was not going to be easy as I had to give up sugar completely and lots of foods that I loved eating.
I realised very early on that soo much shop bought things had sugar added to it which meant I was not allowed to eat it.
Some days were harder than others. I learnt how to make lots of food which did not contain processed sugar for instance blueberry muffins, banana bread and cakes. The challenge really opened my eyes about how much food that we eat everyday has sugar in it and we don’t even realise!
I am really happy I managed to raise £2,700 for Cancer Research a great cause to helping children and adults. Thank you to everyone who has supported by contributing and words of encouragement.
I may even decide to do this challenge every year because it made me feel good!
