On Wednesday 17th May we took two cricketing sides over to Aberdour for a lovely afternoon of mixed soft ball cricket.
The teams were split between Year 5 and 6s and it worked really well. Both sides gave it their all with some impressive bowling on display. Batting is the hardest concept of cricket, but the Oakhyrst cricketers didn’t show this at all.
I was so impressed with how effortlessly we managed to strike the ball. Team 1 came out with a victory by winning by 19 runs. Team 2 sadly lost by 18 runs. Overall, I was very happy with how everyone performed on the day. Well done everyone!
